Hartley Bay Marina offers a valet parking and boat launching service
for our guest b
ut
each patron must leave a set of keys to each vehicle to ensure
safety for everyone. No reservations are required for parking
and boat launching but they are required for cottages and canoe
rentals. Parking and rental charges are by the calendar
day. Taxi or shuttle and barge services are also available for
various destinations to those who dont have their own means of
transportation on the French River. Please notify us at Hartley Bay
Marina ahead of time to ensure availability for these services.
Fees vary based on different destinations.
We also have a supply of gas, bait (worms or minnows depending on the season), ice, souvenirs, confectionary items as well as a few necessary supplies that may have been forgotten along the way. Fishing and hunting licenses (for residents and non-residents), camping permits and boating tests are available at our reception center. We accept debit or credit cards (no American Express) for all transactions, except for fishing, hunting and boating licenses which are cash only.
For co
ttage owners and customers that want to
visit Hartley Bay on a regular basis and want to store their boat
for the season, we offer seasonal rates for summer and winter
storage. Summer storage fees are $500.00 for the boat and the car.
Winter storage fees range from $250.00 to $500.00 depending on the
size of the boat and whether you want inside or outside storage.
All of the rental canoes at Hartley Bay Marina are red, 16 foot Nova Crafts. They are made with Kevlar composite and weigh 58 LBS. Each canoe comes with paddles, lifejackets and all the safety equipment that youll need. Our rental canoes are for use only on the lower French River and can not be transported anywhere else.
