As a favoured access point to the French River Delta, Hartley Bay Marina provides a wide range of services to cater to the Canadian canoeing lifestyle. Launch onto the river right from the marina to enjoy historic paddle routes along the French River Provincial Park, or fishing pike, pickerel (walleye), bass, muskie, crappie and sturgeon. If you’re not familiar with the French River, you can book a professional fishing guide with a boat on the river or on the Georgian Bay to show you the ropes - or the rods, as it were. 

Canoe Rental at Hartley Bay Marina

Our canoe rental options are as follows:

• 16 ft Nova Craft, Kevlar composite canoes weighing approx 52 lbs.
• 16 ft ABS composite canoes weighing approx 58 lbs
• Both are two seater style and all come with paddles, life jackets and safety kit.

Please reserve ahead of time to ensure availability.
Cancellation fee for canoes applies.

As part of loading etiquette and to be compliant with physical distancing on the docks, please have gear packed ahead of time. We will offer a 15 minute loading window and depending on canoe traffic we may have to stagger launches to ensure safe physical distancing.
