It's pretty weedy with reeds by launch, but shallow and flat sandy in many areas - there is a little beach down from site but weedy...

Great location secluded from bad wind and easy paddle from marina and not hard to navigate to if you are feeling tired / cold / lazy.

This is in a secluded cove. So the view is nice and sheltered. You can't see the main river that well from location.

I give it a big thumbs up! You can't see the camp just up from you - but I imagine if they are noisy, it would not be as secluded. I was lucky to have quiet neighbors that I never noticed or saw.

I think many people overlook this spot since it's small. This is the view below from the campsite and camp launch area.

Very weedy but nice and shallow making water warm close to swim by launch. A few snakes since it's so shallow they like to skirt shore, but great for launching since it is shallow.

RelitivelyEasy to get back to Hartley Bay Marina - easist campsite on OX Bay to get back to the marina from since wind usually pushes you back.

It's in a channel so you are a little sheltered by lake, and in a tributary off lake. Great hillside lookout of the bigger lake short walk from campsite. The rocks are fantastic the formation along the tributary edge. It's fun to paddle across the tributary just looking at the awesome formations.

Small site but cozy. Not windy at all since you are sheltered on backside of cliffs and tributary.

Very advanced campsite to get to and lots of open water to traverse in lake. But the upside is less used campsite since really for advanced paddlers to get to.

Very secluded, we only saw one boat in 3 days fishing. Perfect as far as wind. No waves.

Very large campsite - can easily put 2 tents on spot. Not as windy, and buggy a little bit. You really come to this site for the view! and seclusion.
