Update July 9, 2020 - The French River Provincial Park
It is mandatory to wear a mask inside retail establishments within the Sudbury district. Please bring a face covering and designate one person per group to enter the office to register and pay. We are trying to ease up on line-ups and gathering in our office to help maintain physical distancing and to follow health and regulation guidelines. So it will help us if you register for a permit online (optional you can register up to 2 weeks in advance) Click here for the Ontario Parks Reservation System (Tab to Backcountry Registration) or to see detailed instructions on how to purchase a permit click here.
Campers are responsible for having an electronic or printed copy of their permit with them when using the backcountry. A copy of the vehicle permit must be displayed on the dash of the vehicle when parked within a designated area of an operating provincial park.
Although we are all excited to go camping please keep in mind government led initiatives regarding physical distancing and group size numbers. The fire ban is also lifted. But please check all Alerts here since they may be seasonal re: fire bans. More information: https://www.ontarioparks.com/park/frenchriver/alerts
Cottage rentals are still unavailable at this time but stay tuned; as info comes available we will get it to you.
We no longer offer Valet Parking service at the marina due to the new norms. But our staff will assist you in finding a suitable parking spot for your vehicle.
Boat taxi service is no longer available at this time also.
On behalf of The Hartley Bay Marina team, We look forward to seeing you this season!
Let’s all work together, doing the right thing to keep everyone safe through social distancing…
